a) What is the feeling you wanted your gum
package to portray? How did you achieve this?

Ans:- I wanted my gum to portray feeling of fun and some kind of childish excitement. I achieved this by putting the stars, the picture of Dora and by using pinkish colour.

b) Who are you targeting your gum to? How did
you achieve this?

Ans:- I am targeting my gum to kids. I achieved this by  putting the picture of Dora that all kids love and by giving them 5 Dora’s stickers for free.

 c) What area in your design did you use Photoshop?
 Ans:- I used photoshop to design the background of my gum package.

d) More marks are given to designs that are custom created and not just taken from free vectors or free stock photography. What part of your gum
package did you custom design?

Ans:- I custom design the background of my gum package.

a) What does your logo represent?

Ans:- This logo represents the first initials of my full name.

b) How did you design your logo to represent this?

Ans:- I designed my logo to represent the initials of my name. I chose orange, red and black color because it stands out more.  People can see it from far and i think that’s the main purpose of making the logo.

a) What were you trying to express and
how did you achieve this?

Ans:- I was trying to express loneliness and i achieved this by putting all the feelings and emotions to my picture and background. Filters also helped me to express my feelings.

b) What filters did you use and where?

Ans:- I have used Render- Lighting Effect at the bottom right side of the picture. I have used Blur-Motion Blur to make the picture little bit blurry. I have used Texture- Grain on the picture.

 b) What layer blending mode did you use and where?

 Ans:- I have used Luminosity on my picture.

 c) What special brush did you use and where?

Ans:- I have used Butterfly Brush at the bottom right side.

I used Elliptical Marquee Tool to copy the right eye of the cat. Then I pasted the eye, flipped it horizontally and rotated it to make it look perfect.

 

I used the Rectangular Marquee Tool to copy the left side of the picture then I pasted it on the bottom left. Then I copied a part of Ho and pasted, flipped and moved it to the right place then I used the smudge tool to make it look perfect.  

The World is a Beautiful Place

1) How did you enjoy the film? What stood out for you?

 I enjoyed the film a lot because it was a different and inspiring movie. The talent of the kids and their confidence stood out for me the most.   

2) Did you learn anything new about photography, life, people? What?

 I learned that talent is inside you no matter who you are, where you live and what you do. The good thing i learned from the kids is that you should always hope for the good and never give up. I also learned that it doesn’t matter if you have cheap camera its still possible to take really good pictures from your talent inside you. 

3) How do you think the world needs to change?
How important is this?

I think people can make this world very peaceful and beautiful. The most important thing is that every single person should help those who are having problems and can’t deal with it. People should be less selfish and everyone should encourage those who have some kind of talent inside them. It is very important to change the world because it can change most of the people’s lives.

4) What are you willing to do TODAY to be a part
of that change?

I am willing to help those who have problems and can’t deal with it. I am also looking forward to donate money to different kind of donations to help people.  I will also try not to be selfish.

important to you.
Why is this important to you?

A non-profit organization that is important to me is the sick kids foundation. Its important to me because it saves the lives of kids and i think they do deserve money to be donated to them. My money will help them buying equipment to research for cancer.

7) What ideas do you have for media
arts projects that we could do individually
or as a class to help contribute to these
organizations that are important to us?

 I think we can make valentine cards and put at least $ 1 inside them this way we all will have chance to be creative and also we will be able to help contribute to these organizations that are important to us.
